Business cards around Addison
Addison is packed with restaurants, hotels, offices and an airport, so a lot of the people your business meets are visitors or office workers rather than neighbors. They take home whatever you hand them, so the card, menu or flyer has to be clear at a glance and easy to keep.
A small town with a big daytime crowd
Addison had 16,661 residents at the 2020 census, in just over four square miles. Its daytime population has been estimated at more than 120,000, and the town has 22 hotels with over 3,000 rooms and more than two million square feet of office space. Most people your business meets here do not live here. They are visiting or at work, and they leave with whatever you hand them.
Restaurants, events and the arts
Addison has nearly 200 restaurants and says it has more restaurants per capita than any other U.S. city. Addison Circle Park hosts Kaboom Town!, Oktoberfest and Taste Addison, and the town is home to WaterTower Theatre and the Addison Improv Comedy Club. Restaurants, caterers, event vendors and performers all need printed pieces that read well at a glance: cards, flyers, postcards and banners.
Headquarters, offices and the airport
Corporate headquarters in Addison include Dresser, Daseke, Mary Kay and Wingstop, and Bank of America, Concentra and IWG are major employers. Addison Airport, which opened in 1957, covers about one-eighth of the town. Consultants, staffing firms, IT companies and aviation services all work around them, and for client-facing businesses we suggest a matte or gloss finish on a thicker stock.
